What is Altius?
The Altius Initiative is a program of Catholic leadership formation set within a community of like-minded youth apostles.
It serves as a structured platform and dedicated community for young people to be given the opportunity to learn, to love and to live the principles and convictions of their calling to be Christ’s apostles.
To achieve this, the sessions that will be offered will take on a more experiential and testimonial nature, offering a more personalized and hands-on approach.
The word “Altius”, which means “higher” in Latin, serves as the program’s vision which aims to bring youth leaders to a higher level of faith, commitment and mission, moved by a deeper love for Christ and for their community.

THE ALTIUS SESSION FLOW:
PRAYER > FORMATION > DISCUSSION > MENTORING > CAPSTONE PROJECT
WHO RUNS ALTIUS?
Altius is a Regnum Christi Youth Program that hopes to be a place of collaboration between Regnum Christi Youth leaders (Legionaries of Christ, Consecrated women, lay members, etc.) and local Church/school faith leaders (pastors, campus ministers, youth ministers, etc.).
We believe in the power of collaboration in the mission to offer our young people the best possible opportunity to grow in their Catholic leadership.
The program will be moderated by adults and High School seniors who have been equipped with the right skillset and have sufficient formation and commitment to lead this initiative.
